The Atlantic City Boat Show docks at the Atlantic City Convention Center today through Sunday with more than 500 boats and water-lover activities to give lifelong boating enthusiasts and novices alike an all-access pass to discover why life is better with a boat. With everything from kayaks and personal watercraft to sportfishers and watersports boats, as well as new boats that can be financed for less than $250 a month, there is a boat for every lifestyle and budget at the Show.
Attendees can also try the first-ever stand up “pedal” board and other paddlesports in the new indoor paddle pool; learn about the latest wakesports tricks and trends from professional world water ski team champion April Coble Eller; catch tips from the pros at the Discover Fishing seminar series; see 1950s classic and race boat display; give little skippers a taste of the boating lifestyle with the Kids Create-a-Boat workshop; and give back to the local community by supporting Captain’s Table Gala hosted by “Let Us Eat, Please” and the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
One brand making a splash this year is Yamaha WaterCraft with their 2017 line of boats and WaveRunner personal watercraft. Yamaha has introduced a new high-performance 19-foot 195 series along with four new 21-foot boats that includes the 212 Limited line and a new 212X with advanced wakesurf capabilities. On WaveRunner side, Yamaha has expanded its personal watercraft lineup to include an all-new entry level EX Series as well as a new reincarnation of the legendary GP racing series, the GP1800.
