Yamaha WaveRunner racers swept the national championship podium this weekend at the final round of the P1 AquaX Pro Enduro national tour held in Pensacola, FL.
Leading the Yamaha contingent was Riva Racing’s Brian Baldwin, who not only finished #1 in the USA, he’s also #1 in the World Rankings.
Following Baldwin in national championship points is fellow Yamaha racers Eric Francis and Chris MacClugage respectively. In all, Yamaha WaveRunner racers filled the Top 12 positions on the national tour leaderboard.
“I’m proud of Brian and our Riva team for taking home the USA P1 AquaX Pro Enduro National Championship, said Riva Motorsports owner Dave Bamdas. “This championship would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of so many of our Riva employees. Baldwin’s skis were built in our R&D shop, tested on our lake and maintained by our support crew. Thanks to all who helped make this happen, and especially to Brian for his commitment to winning.”
Although Baldwin finished first in tour points, it was Dean’s Team’s Aqsa Aswar who finished #1 for the weekend. Finishing just behind Aswar was Broward Motorsports’ Chris MacClugage and Baldwin respectively.
Yamaha WaveRunner racing action resumes in October at the IJSBA World Finals in Lake Havasu City, AZ, and then again in November at the P1 AquaX World Championship in Nassau, The Bahamas.
